Big Mike has already overcome more than any dog should have to, but now he needs your help to see a brighter future.
Mike arrived at CDCH suffering from a number of painful conditions and in urgent need of extensive veterinary care. Among them was double cherry eye, a painful condition affecting the glands in both of his eyes. He also has a chronic dry eye condition, which requires ongoing treatment.
This lovable bulldog hasn’t let his difficult start in life change his wonderfully affectionate nature. Despite everything he has overcome, Mike is still facing one final hurdle before he can enjoy the comfortable, happy life he deserves.
To give Mike the best chance of living a comfortable, happy life, he now needs specialist surgery on both of his eyes.
The treatment is estimated to cost £2,800 – a significant amount for our charity, but one that could make a life-changing difference to Mike.
