At C2S, we believe that business has the power to make a positive difference in our communities. That’s why we’ve proudly supported the CCP Sleep Out since the very first event in 2018.

Each year, joining the Sleep Out gives us the opportunity to stand alongside businesses, friends and supporters to raise vital funds and awareness for people experiencing homelessness and hardship across Gloucestershire.

While one night sleeping outside can never replicate the reality faced by those without a safe place to call home, it serves as a powerful reminder of the challenges many people experience every day. It also highlights the incredible work that CCP does throughout the year to provide support, hope and practical help to those who need it most.

We’re proud to have been part of the event from the beginning and look forward to once again coming together as C2S Under the Stars to support a cause that continues to make a real difference. This years event is at Cheltenham Racecourse 1st October 2026

CCP Vision: Ending Rough Sleeping in Cheltenham

A Stepping Stone from Street to Home

We believe there is an opportunity to end rough sleeping in Cheltenham by 2030.

Right now, around 7 people sleep rough each night in our town.* Through the Big Sleep Out, we believe we can change that from 7 to 0.

The Big Sleep Out helps us provide a better option for people who are street sleeping. ChelPods are a safe, private and dignified space, offering a stable base from which people can begin to explore options for permanent accommodation. They are a practical stepping stone from street to home.

Working with Amazing Grace Spaces, we have already introduced Cheltenham’s first ChelPod on the High Street, giving someone who had been sleeping rough for five years a safe and secure place to stay. You can read his story here.

By taking part in the Big Sleep Out, you will help raise funds to provide more ChelPods, while also building understanding and support across the community for lasting change. With your support, we can ensure no one in Cheltenham is without somewhere to call home.
