We’re delighted to share that Alexandria Seddon has officially qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer – and it couldn’t be more deserved.

Alex is a valued member of our Residential Property team, supporting our Head of Department, Heidi Aitken. Since joining Hughes Paddison as a paralegal in 2021, she has demonstrated real commitment both to the firm and to her own professional development. She went on to begin her studies with the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives, all while continuing to build hands-on experience across a wide range of property matters.

Her work includes supporting sales and purchases, lease extensions, new build conveyancing, and first registrations. Her attention to detail and approachable manner have made her a trusted support to both colleagues and clients alike.

Reflecting on her journey, Alex shared that one of the most rewarding aspects has been progressing through the CILEX stages while applying that knowledge directly in practice. This has strengthened her confidence and capability in handling client transactions, as well as taking on greater responsibility, including acting as a first point of contact for clients. Seeing that growth reflected in her day-to-day role has been particularly meaningful.

Alex has also received consistently positive feedback from clients, praised for her straightforward, knowledgeable approach and for providing timely support – even beyond completion.

Looking ahead, Alex is focused on continuing to grow within the firm:

“Now that I have qualified, my goal is to build my own client base, strengthen existing client relationships, and continue progressing within the firm. In the longer term, I aim to take on more responsibility, develop my expertise further, and contribute more to the firm’s success.”

And how is she celebrating? With plenty of pasta and Aperol spritz on the Amalfi Coast, followed by a well-earned trip to Croatia to relax and unwind.
