Event details

Understanding how to lead and work across a multigenerational workforce has never been more important. For the first time, many organisations have four — and sometimes five — generations working side by side, each bringing different expectations, communication styles and motivations. From Baby Boomers, who often value experience, loyalty and structured progression, to Generation X, known for independence and adaptability, through to Millennials, who tend to prioritise purpose, development and collaboration, and Generation Z, who are digitally native and seek flexibility, inclusivity and rapid progression — the workplace is evolving quickly. Creating an environment where these perspectives are understood, valued and aligned is key to building strong, high-performing teams and avoiding disconnect, miscommunication or disengagement.

Generational breakdown:

  • Baby Boomers: born 1946–1964
  • Generation X: born 1965–1980
  • Millennials (Gen Y): born 1981–1996
  • Generation Z (Gen Z): born 1997–2012

This conversation is about more than labels — it’s about unlocking the strengths of each generation and creating workplaces where everyone can contribute and thrive
