Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is on course to make a difference as headline sponsor of National Star’s Charity Golf Day.
Their sponsorship will help fund specialist equipment and resources that support National Star students’ therapy, education and independence.
The Charity Golf Day returns to Cotswold Hills Golf Club on Friday 2 October, bringing together golfers of all abilities for a day of friendly competition, networking and community spirit. Last year’s tee times sold out, so teams are being encouraged to book early.
Prosperity Care & Wellbeing is a Gloucester-based supported living and domiciliary care provider, delivering person-centred care to enable adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling and meaningful lives in their own homes.
Colin Beard, Prosperity’s Executive Chair’ said: ‘We are delighted to sponsor National Star’s Charity Golf Day and support the charity’s work with young adults with complex disabilities. ‘National Star makes a real difference by helping people build confidence, independence and skills for the future, and we are proud to play a part in helping raise funds for such an important cause. We would encourage C2S members, supporters and golf enthusiasts to sign up, take part and help make this year’s event a great success
‘We are very grateful to Prosperity Care & Wellbeing for supporting this year’s Charity Golf Day,’ said Monica Farthing, Fundraiser at National Star. ‘Their sponsorship will help us raise even more to support our students and give them the resources they need to thrive.’
Teams will tee off from 10.30am before returning to the clubhouse for a buffet lunch. On-course competitions, prizes and a raffle will round off the day.
National Star was founded in 1967 and supports young adults with complex disabilities to realise their potential through education, personalised learning opportunities, accommodation, care and support services. Each year, the charity works with hundreds of young adults from across the UK.
