Lilian Faithfull Care is a local charity providing care, support and community services for older people across Gloucestershire.

For more than 80 years, we have been part of the local community, helping older people live well, stay connected and feel at home as their circumstances change. Today, we support hundreds of residents, day guests and families through a range of services designed to meet different needs and stages of later life.

Our care communities provide residential, nursing and specialist dementia care, as well as respite and short-term care. We also offer independent living accommodation and adult day care, helping people remain active, connected and supported while continuing to live at home.

Whatever the level of support someone needs, our approach is centred on the individual. We take time to understand the person behind the care needs, their preferences, routines, interests and wishes, and use this to shape the support we provide. We want people to remain as independent as possible, make their own choices and continue living life in a way that feels right for them.

We believe good care is about much more than meeting someone's physical needs. It is about creating places that feel welcoming and homely, building genuine relationships, encouraging friendships and interests, and making sure people feel valued, respected and part of a community.

We are a charity and a not-for-profit organisation. While our care services are paid for, our charitable purpose is at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to providing high-quality care while making a positive difference to older people and their families, including helping those who may face financial hardship or need additional support.

Our work extends beyond our care communities. Through our adult day services, community activities, dementia support, training and partnerships, we share our knowledge and experience and help strengthen the wider network of support for older people across Gloucestershire.

Most importantly, we understand that choosing care can feel daunting. Sometimes people are simply planning ahead and exploring their options. Sometimes a family needs help quickly because circumstances have suddenly changed. Wherever you are in that journey, you do not need to have all the answers before you get in touch.

Our team is here to listen, answer questions and talk through what might be right for you or your loved one. There is no pressure and no expectation that you need to know exactly what you are looking for.
