We are currently seeking enthusiastic and experienced Fire & Security Surveyors to join BWS Standfast, one of the South-West’s leading companies. We are a well-established (since 1988) BAFE and NSI Gold-accredited Fire & Security business. We work throughout the South-West and also nationally through our partnership with the NASIC group.

Location: Ideally Bristol, Bath and South West

Role: Permanent

Job Role:

The Fire & Security Surveyor will conduct Commercial and Domestic premises for both new installations and upgrades of Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems.

• Designing and Quoting new Fire and Security systems in line with current standards and legislations. We are NSI Gold and BAFE accredited.
• Providing detailed, accurate quotes & specifications on fast turnaround times.
• The position requires a pro-active and motivate person to also look for new sales opportunities to ensure targets are met. 100% of the role will be responding to the needs of existing leads.
• Always present a professional appearance.
• Adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Delivering a first-class customer service to all our customers

Skills Required:

Our ideal candidate has:

• A good technical understanding of Fire and Security systems, with substantial experience (10+yrs) in the industry.
• The ability to complete detailed, accurate and timely specifications and quotations.
• Is reliable and self-motivated, able to work alone as well as in a team.
• Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
• A passion for providing world class customer service.
• A full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• A desire to be financially rewarded for hard work, dedication and commitment

About Us:

BWS Standfast Fire & Security are a well-established (since 1988) BAFE and NSI Gold accredited Intruder & Fire business and is currently looking to recruit an experienced Installation Engineer. We install a wide range of systems including Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV Systems and Access Control Systems.

We are based in Bath and focus our work principally on the South-West.

Additional Information:

Due to the nature of the Fire & Security industry and specific contracts, if successful, we will need to complete several background checks including a credit check, five-year referencing history and DBS check. All offers will be subject to successful completion of these background checks.
