About the Role:
We are looking for a compassionate, resilient, and experienced female Senior Support Worker to provide support to a young woman in her early 20s. She has a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, Disorganised Attachment Disorder, Dyspraxia, and Anxiety, and requires someone who can offer patient, trauma-informed support tailored to her unique needs.
Due to her preference and the nature of the support required, this position is open to female applicants only (Exemption under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1).
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Support Worker, you will take a lead role in providing consistent, trauma-informed support to an individual with complex emotional needs. A calm, responsive, and emotionally resilient approach is essential. The role includes responsibility for conducting regular audits of care plans, risk assessments, and incident reports to maintain compliance and improve service quality. You will also provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring best practice is followed. A strong understanding of autism, anxiety, and neurodiversity is vital, with full specialist training provided. This role requires reliability, patience, and extensive experience supporting individuals with mental health challenges and trauma backgrounds in a safe, compassionate, and professional manner.
