Senior Rota Lead – Healthcare Business in Gloucestershire
Salary: £34,000–£35,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Gloucester Quays.
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Grade B

 

Prosperity Care & Wellbeing, an award-winning supported living care provider in Gloucestershire, is looking for a Senior Rota Lead to join our team. About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Rota Lead who can keep our teams firing on all cylinders. You’ll lead and support the Rota Team, making sure schedules run smoothly, resources are used smartly, and everything stays compliant with company policies. Beyond the spreadsheets, you’ll coach and develop your team, manage leave, and keep workforce records spot-on. You’ll also build strong partnerships with recruitment agencies, turn data into insights for senior management, and play a key role in delivering seamless, high-quality service across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and support the Rota Team to ensure accurate scheduling, team cohesion, and professional development
  • Oversee all rota activities, including leave management, resource allocation, and service continuity, ensuring smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies on payroll, staffing, absence management, and operational procedures.
  • Build strong relationships with recruitment agencies and manage temporary staffing to meet business needs efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records, generate reports, and provide data-driven insights to senior management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise resources, improve efficiency, and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

 

What We’re Looking For:

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Rota Lead who can keep our teams running like clockwork. You’ll bring proven experience in rota management for Supported Living services and thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments. As a confident, solutions-focused leader, you’ll motivate your team, collaborate across departments, and drive efficiency while keeping care quality front and centre.

 

  • Proven experience managing teams in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with rota management experience in Supported Living services.
  • Skilled in ECM and other workforce management systems, ensuring accurate and efficient scheduling.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator, able to work effectively across departments.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to prioritise under pressure while making sound decisions.
  • Innovative leader committed to driving improvements in the care sector and promoting a zero-tolerance approach to abuse, neglect, and discrimination.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and capable of leading teams or working independently as required.
