About the role
We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a Responsive Repairs Supervisor!
Are you interested in leading and inspiring a team of trades to deliver high standards of performance and work quality?
You will be responsible for the line management and performance management of assigned members within the Responsive Repairs Team, working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve the best possible outcomes for colleagues and customers.
You will be responsible for:
• Inspire and lead a skilled workforce – Motivate, develop and performance-manage a team of trades operatives, creating a positive, accountable culture that drives high standards, wellbeing and continuous professional growth.
• Drive operational excellence – Take ownership of responsive repairs, planned works, voids and estates maintenance, ensuring quality workmanship, strong contractor performance and value for money across all activities.
• Champion safety and compliance – Promote a culture of safe working, safeguarding and regulatory adherence, ensuring health and safety standards, vehicle compliance and council policies are consistently met.
• Use data to improve performance – Monitor KPIs, budgets and system reporting (including QL, E-days and T100) to inform decision-making and deliver measurable service improvements.
• Build strong partnerships – Work collaboratively with internal teams, contractors, elected members and customers to deliver responsive, customer-focused outcomes.
