We are looking for a capable and commercially minded Litigation Solicitor to join our growing Litigation team. This is an excellent opportunity for a solicitor who enjoys managing a varied caseload, providing practical advice to clients, and working collaboratively to achieve strong outcomes in contentious matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of civil and commercial litigation matters from initial instruction through to resolution.
• Draft pleadings, witness statements, correspondence, applications, settlement agreements and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and provide clear, strategic advice to clients on risk, prospects and next steps.
• Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, interim applications and court hearings where appropriate.
• Work closely with colleagues across the firm to deliver a responsive, high-quality client service.
• Maintain accurate files, meet compliance requirements and contribute to effective case management.
• Support business development activity, including client relationship building and professional networking.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales, ideally with experience in litigation or dispute resolution.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and confidence handling contentious matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly.
• Commercial awareness, sound judgement and a practical approach to problem-solving.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities.
• A proactive, client-focused approach and the confidence to work both independently and as part of a team.
