About the role

Join our Licensing & Public Protection team and help keep Cheltenham safe, fair and thriving.
What you’ll do
• Process and determine licensing applications
• Give clear advice to businesses, applicants and the public
• Support Licensing Committees and represent the council at meetings
• Keep accurate case records and ensure statutory deadlines are met
• Contribute to policy updates and community safety work
About you
• Experience in licensing or public protection
• Great communication and organisational skills
• Confident working independently and with stakeholders
• Able to interpret policies and legislation
• Flexible, with occasional out of hours work
