Your new role:

We are seeking Graduate Software Engineers to join our team working on next-generation Information Resilience and Electronic Warfare technology. You will be an integral part of a team involved in the design, development and verification of complete systems of products such as the CATAPAN and Corvus product families, along with other products and systems we develop.

Working with a Technical Lean in Agile sprints, some of your responsibilities will include coding from existing requirements and designs (to begin with) and progressing to updating and developing requirements, design and implementation as you become more proficient. You’ll also learn about our product architectures to build your understanding to apply your own ideas, manage your own time and workload and stay up to date with new technologies, methods and languages using both the L3Harris online resources and publicly available resources.

What you’ll bring:

• 2:1 or above in Computer Science/Software Engineering or equivalent
• Experience with C and/or C++ is ideal
• Additionally, experience with Python, Rust and/or C# is advantageous
• Experience of object orientated design and implementation principles
• Appreciation of Continuous Integration and DevOps tools such as GitLab/Jenkins
• Willingness to learn and tenacious approach to problem solving
• Strong interpersonal skills and a self-starter – able to work as part of a team as well as using your own initiative
• A demonstrable passion for technology keeping up to date with latest innovations
