Electrician
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join our expanding team. In this role, you will work across Gloucestershire in Schools, Care homes, and within the social housing sector. You’ll be responsible for:
- Carrying out electrical installation condition reports (EICRs)
- Completing remedial, planned, and reactive works
- Ensuring all work is delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
This is a varied role where no two days are the same – ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking pride in quality workmanship.
What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise, professionalism, and customer focus. We’re seeking someone who:
- Has completed a recognised electrical apprenticeship
- Holds 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification
- Holds City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) in inspection and testing
- Has proven experience in testing, inspection, and maintenance of electrical installations
- Understands health & safety legislation and applies it in practice
- Can work both independently and as part of a team
- Is confident in training and supporting apprentices
- Can use tablets for documentation and reports
- Has strong organisational skills and can prioritise workload effectively
- Possesses a valid UK driving licence
