Domestic Gas – Service & Breakdown Engineer

Job Description

Hewer facilities management Ltd (Hewer) are looking for a domestic gas engineers to join our engineering team. This role will consist of servicing and repairs to the central heating system. We offer a challenging but rewarding work environment and we will provide all the necessary training, uniform, PPE and materials to enable the successful candidate to settle in quickly and feel comfortable conducting the required roles. A company van will be provided with a company fuel card. Working alongside other experienced engineers, contracts managers and technical supervisors.

All gas engineers are required to hold full ACS qualifications including Cookers & Fires (qualifications must be in date for the full three-month period) and you must live in or around or within commutable distance of the desired area.

Requirements

The successful candidate must be confident and experienced working with Vaillant and Worcester Bosch boilers (repairs and servicing).

Unvented, Oil and LPG qualifications are desired but not essential. Must hold a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points as a fully expensed company vehicle will be provided.

Engineers must have the ability to work on call for at least 6 days out of the month and this may include a weekend (these will not be consecutive days).

A clean driving license is required.
