Communications & PR Manager – 12‑Month Maternity Cover

Job Description

This temporary role is for a Communications & PR Manager providing 12-month maternity cover. The successful candidate will oversee press and media relations, implement public relations strategies, and develop communication plans to promote Prosperity Care and Wellbeing effectively. Day-to-day tasks include writing press releases, coordinating with media outlets, and ensuring brand messaging is consistent and impactful. This is a hybrid role based in Gloucester, which allows for a combination of in-office and remote work opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Press Releases and Media Relations
  • Expertise in Communication and Public Relations
  • Experience in Strategic Communications, including planning and execution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment
  • Experience in the care or wellbeing sector is an advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
