We are looking for Support Workers to support service users, some of whom have behaviors’ which may challenge, within an established, rapidly expanding company.

We have a number of positions currently available. These include:

• Full-time Support Worker

We are looking for people who have a caring nature and want to make a difference with our services users. The role comes with its own responsibilities, so it is paramount that you understand the importance of this and that every day is different so you will need to be flexible in your approach.

Within our Hereford branch we have some amazing day facilities to meet the needs of those that we support. Within our branch we plethora of rooms to be able to offer an array of activities. We have a Games room, IT suite, Library, Independence kitchen, Sensory Rooms and so much more. Being a support worker with us, you will work with different young people and needs, enabling everyday to really be different!

Within First Thought Care Services our services include:

• Parenting Support
• Mother/Father and baby
• Children with additional needs
• Short/long term respite
• Specialist Education Provision
• Supported Living Facilities

The Pay Spiel:

We can offer you a contract, based on your needs, on a competitive starting hourly rate of £13.20 per hour, with overtime hours paid at£13.07 per hour.

We also pay enhancements based on any relevant NVQ’s that you may hold. This enhancement can be up to an additional £0.30p per hour.

This means, that you could be earning £13.12 an hour (based on overtime and NVQ enhancement on day shifts )!!!
