B2B Marketing & Events Executive
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced, hands-on B2B Marketing & Events Executive to plan and deliver campaigns that generate attendance, engagement and sales conversations. You will run events, build supporting social content, and work closely with sales to convert responses into qualified opportunities. This suits someone who likes ownership, pace and practical delivery.
This is a practical delivery role. You will typically create and deliver a minimum of two events per month (breakfast briefings, roundtables, lunches or partner sessions), plus an always-on social cadence that promotes events and turns interest into booked meetings.
What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days
- Deliver your first event end to end, with clear targets for registrations, attendance and follow-up
- Establish a consistent LinkedIn and Instagram cadence that supports campaigns and events
- Run a simple follow-up rhythm that turns responses into booked meetings (in partnership with sales)
- Report weekly on what is happening and what it is generating: registrations, attendance, responses and meetings booked
What You’ll Do
- Plan and deliver B2B marketing campaigns across events, LinkedIn and Instagram
- Own B2B event delivery end to end, including venue, suppliers, guest lists, comms and follow-up (Cardiff/Wales, Gloucestershire and the South West)
- Create and publish LinkedIn and Instagram content that supports campaigns and events
- Drive registrations, attendance and responses through coordinated outreach
- Partner with sales to turn engagement into booked meetings and qualified conversations
- Use AI tools to plan, draft, improve and deliver work faster
How This Role Works
You will own campaign planning and execution across events and social channels. You will work closely with the Lead Generation Lead and the sales team. You own marketing delivery and follow-up coordination. Sales own qualification and pipeline progression.
Your focus is generating engagement and responses through consistent, well-designed delivery. You will have visibility across marketing and sales, with access to leadership, and plenty of room to shape how we run campaigns.
What We’re Looking For (Must-Have)
- Minimum 3 years proven experience in B2B Marketing
- Minumum 3 years proven experience planning and delivering B2B events
- Experience running or supporting lead generation campaigns
- Experience using a CRM (for example Dynamics 365) to track invites, responses and follow-up
- Confident writing and publishing content on behalf of others and a company for LinkedIn and Instagram
- Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable working at pace, juggling multiple workstreams and owning delivery
Nice-to-Have
- Basic design skills (for example Canva) to produce simple event and social assets
- Experience working with partners, venues and suppliers
- Confidence hosting on the day (welcome, run-of-show, speaker support)
AI Requirement (Must-Have)
AI capability is essential in this role. You will be expected to use AI tools as a normal part of how you plan, write and deliver work.
- Confident using AI tools in day-to-day work
- Practical experience with Microsoft Copilot or equivalent
- Able to use AI to plan, write and deliver work more efficiently
