Who we are:
We have a simple objective: to get results for our clients by providing high quality planning consultancy. Our goal is to secure planning permission or an allocation for development.
Our reputation for integrity and the respect we have gained means we are a growing business, thriving on personal recommendations from our loyal clients and trusted industry colleagues. Our team of chartered town planning consultants deal with a host of interesting planning projects from across southern England and Wales – including strategic land promotion, local plan representations, paragraph 84, housing developments of 10 units or more, commercial projects, renewables, infrastructure projects and rural diversification schemes. We also provide specialist consultancy advice to sporting and education institutions, and the aviation sector.

Nathan McLoughlin
Nathan is the founder and Managing Director of McLoughlin Planning with over 25-year experience in both the public and private sectors. He has overseen a wide range of development projects and provides planning leadership for the company. His specialities in town planning include commercial, aviation, health care and private client work.
Jenny McLoughlin
Jenny is the Co-Managing Director of McLoughlin Planning and has trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG, before moving into roles in Management Accounting for various industry sectors. Her roles encompassed responsibilities for HR, payroll, budgeting, cashflow forecasting, debt management and VAT, all skills she brought to McLoughlin Planning
