Recording this conversation with Dave Morris from Zentano gave me a rare opportunity to pause and reflect on my leadership journey. It also felt slightly uncomfortable as usually we’re asking the questions 😁

We talked alot not just about the roles or titles but the learning. From formative years living in Hong Kong and travelling alot 🌏 To regeneration programmes, organisational transformation and building C2S.
There have been tough decisions along the way, as there always are in leadership. But what I’ve genuinely enjoyed is the process of learning, evolving, finding my own leadership style, refining it and becoming comfortable with it.
Leadership, for me, isn’t about having all the answers.
✨ It’s about asking better questions.
🌱 Creating space to think.
⏸️ Resisting the urge to react.
🔄 Agility isn’t reactivity.
🤝 Authenticity matters more than charisma.
And
💡clarity tends to come when we slow down enough to find it.
One of the biggest shifts in my journey has been leading in a way that feels aligned and honest. It’s also why I care so deeply about what we create at C2S. Giving people space to think, reflect and grow isn’t a luxury, it’s essential. And I love that we’re able to provide that environment for so many.
