Wilson Art Gallery and Museum is set to open The Art of Looking: From Dutch Masters to Modern Britain on 29 May 2026.
The exhibition will bring together paintings from the museum’s collection, including works from the de Ferrieres collection, which was gifted to Cheltenham in 1898.
It will also feature work by 20th-century British and international artists, including Stanley Spencer, Graham Sutherland, Vanessa Bell, Duncan Grant and Lynn Chadwick.
The Art of Looking: From Dutch Masters to Modern Britain runs until 3 January 2027. A press view will take place on 29 May at 10am.
