Cheltenham / Stroud, Gloucestershire – January 2026 – Randall & Payne has announced Meningitis Now as its corporate charity partner for 2026 and 2027 following a staff-led selection process.
As a certified B Corp, Randall & Payne is committed to balancing commercial success with a positive impact on people, communities and the environment, and takes pride in supporting initiatives that create a meaningful difference locally and nationally.
The partnership brings together two organisations with shared roots in Stroud. Forty years ago, families in Stroud and Stonehouse, including Founder Patron Jane Wells, came together to form The Stroud Meningitis Support Group, which soon evolved into The Meningitis Trust, the UK’s first meningitis charity. Still headquartered in Stroud at Fern House on Bath Road, the organisation is now known as Meningitis Now.
Randall & Payne was founded in Stroud in 1879 by John Randall and George Payne. Following a period of growth across Gloucestershire, the firm relocated to Cheltenham more than a decade ago to bring its teams together under one roof.
The firm values the vital work the charity undertakes to raise awareness, provide support to those affected, and fund life-saving research, and is proud to support a cause making a meaningful difference.
Shaun Pegler, Partner at Randall & Payne, said:
“We are excited to be starting this partnership with Meningitis Now, and having had the opportunity to meet with the corporate fundraising team we are keen to get started. We are looking forward to playing an active role in supporting the charity’s vital work, through fundraising and awareness-raising initiatives, especially during their 40-year anniversary.”
Meningitis Now is the UK’s leading meningitis charity, dedicated to saving lives and rebuilding futures through research, awareness and lifelong support for those affected. Based in Stroud, Gloucestershire, the charity provides emotional, practical and financial support, funds vital research into vaccines and prevention, and works tirelessly to raise public awareness so symptoms can be recognised early and lives can be saved.
This year marks the charity’s 40th anniversary. Its vision is a future where no one in the UK loses their life to meningitis and everyone impacted receives the support they need.
Laura Williams, Corporate Fundraising Manager at Meningitis Now, added:
“We are delighted to welcome Randall & Payne as our new charity partner. Their commitment to supporting our work means so much to us, especially in a year that will see us mark our 40th Anniversary. We are incredibly grateful to the team for their enthusiasm and belief in the work we do. We’re excited for what’s to come. Together, we will bring hope, strength, and the promise of brighter days to many more individuals and families affected by meningitis in Gloucestershire and across the UK.”
