On 28 September, the UK’s cyber community came together for the National Cyber Awards 2026, bringing together some of the brightest minds, innovators and leaders from across government, the public sector, industry and education.

The evening celebrated the individuals and organisations making outstanding contributions to strengthening the UK’s cyber resilience, recognising achievements and innovation across both local and national cyber ecosystems.

A huge congratulations goes to all of the 2026 finalists, category winners and highly commended for their outstanding contributions and achievements. From insightful words from keynote speakers to celebrating innovation from across the cyber community, it was a fantastic evening of recognition and celebration.

One of the highlights of the evening saw Irfan Hemani, Director of Technology & Transformation at Deloitte, take home this year’s Cyber Citizen of the Year Award, kindly sponsored by BAE Systems Digital Intelligence. An incredible achievement!

There was also an incredible result for the National Cyber Awards’ chosen Charity of the Year, The Cyber Helpline, which was named winner of the Not for Profit Award. The charity raised an amazing £6,270 through the raffle on the night, allowing them to provide direct support to 180 victims of cybercrime.

Photos from the evening are now available through the official National Cyber Awards event gallery, capturing some of the highlights and celebrations from the night.

A huge thank you goes to the sponsors, partners, Advisory Board and judges whose support helps make this celebration of cyber excellence possible.

Looking ahead to 2027
