Help Give Ray a Pain-Free Future

The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home is calling on the local community to help give 13-year-old Norwegian Forest Cat, Ray, a pain-free future.

Ray recently arrived in the charity’s care following a change in circumstances at home. Described as a lovely and affectionate boy, Ray is now receiving the care and attention he needs, but a veterinary examination has revealed that his teeth are in very poor condition.

He urgently needs extensive dental treatment, including extractions, to relieve the pain and discomfort he is experiencing.

Dental disease can be extremely painful for cats and can affect their ability to eat, groom themselves and enjoy everyday life. With the cost of veterinary treatment continuing to rise, providing this essential care also places increasing pressure on animal rescues.

The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home is now asking for support to help provide Ray with the treatment he needs and continue caring for other animals who require medical attention.

At 13 years old, Ray should be able to enjoy his golden years in comfort, with plenty of fuss and a warm spot to curl up in.

Every donation can help the charity provide vital veterinary care to animals like Ray, giving them the opportunity to recover, rebuild their confidence and, when the time is right, find a loving home.

If you’d like to support Ray and help The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home continue providing vital veterinary care to animals who need it, you can make a donation here.
