For more than eight years, we’ve had the privilege of working closely with the team at Elmrep. Over that time, we’ve watched the business evolve, strengthen its offering and grow its reputation—much like the people within it. Just as Lee Summers progressed from apprentice to Managing Director, we’ve now seen the same trajectory begin for Jake Wilkins, who has stepped confidently into the role of Operations Director at only 23 years old.
C2S has been a long-standing customer of Elmrep, and through that relationship we’ve experienced first-hand what exceptional customer service feels like. Their proactive system—which alerts the team before a customer even realises a machine needs support—continues to be a real differentiator. In most cases, all a customer needs to worry about is adding paper.
The business has broadened too. Alongside its core print services, Elmrep now supplies interactive touchscreen tables used in care homes, nurseries, corporate settings and community environments—an unexpected addition that has gone on to create real engagement and connection.
Jake’s journey is a testament to Elmrep’s culture of growing talent from within. Coming into the company as a teenager, he originally worked within admin and support before developing into customer-facing roles, technical problem-solving and operational responsibility. With the guidance of people who had been through the same journey, he has grown into a leadership role with maturity, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for innovation.
And although the print industry continues to evolve, Elmrep has stayed ahead. Its recent move into specialist cloud-based print solutions has already been well received—particularly within law firms nationwide. It’s a bold step forward, but one that reflects the company’s approach: adapting, improving and delivering what others say can’t be done.
As the business continues into its next phase, Elmrep remains committed to serving customers locally while expanding its technical capability. Their aim is not simply to grow, but to maintain the personal, responsive, customer-first approach that has earned them their reputation.
