Bluebell is just four years old. A happy, friendly Frenchie cross with a wonderful personality, she has a lot of love to give and just loves to say hello and make friends.
But behind that cheerful little face, Bluebell has been living with discomfort for far too long.
Bluebell has severe bilateral ear disease in both of her ears, and our veterinary team is extremely concerned about her condition and she needs urgent treatment to help her.
She will need staged surgery on both ears to remove the diseased ear canals and give her the best chance of living without the ongoing pain and infection she has been experiencing.
And her ears aren’t the only problem.
Bluebell also has a nasty infected cyst on her rump, which will need to be surgically removed and she is also not yet spayed, so this will need to be carried out as part of the veterinary care she requires.

Bluebell faces more challenges ahead.
Like many dogs with Bluebell’s breeding, it has left her with narrow airways, making it harder for her to breathe comfortably. Our veterinary team has recommended BOAS surgery to open up her airways and help her breathe more easily.
At just four years old, Bluebell should have so much life ahead of her.
She should be running around, playing, exploring and enjoying all the little things that make dogs happy, without having to live with pain or struggling to breathe.
We want to give Bluebell the chance to feel what it is like to be comfortable again.
Her treatment will take time and involve multiple surgeries, with the total cost estimated at £10,000.
