Join us at Cheltenham Racecourse and be part of the movement  to end rough sleeping in Cheltenham.

The CCP Big Sleep Out returns on the 1st October, bringing together the community in support of CCP’s mission to end rough sleeping in Cheltenham and prevent the causes of homelessness across the South West.

This year, CCP are aiming to recruit more than 100 community and business leaders to spend one uncomfortable night under the stars, raising vital funds and awareness for this life-changing work. Together, we hope to raise £100,000 to support people facing homelessness.

Hosted at the prestigious Cheltenham Racecourse, this year’s event offers a unique opportunity to sleep beside the hallowed turf, in view of the racecourse finish line, while taking part in one of Cheltenham’s most meaningful and impactful fundraisers.

As a Big Sleep Out participant, you’ll be supported every step of the way by our friendly fundraising team, who will provide guidance, encouragement and insight to help you make a real difference.

The evening will begin after work with speeches and guest speakers sharing why the event matters. A light supper, including vegetarian options, and a simple breakfast will be provided. There will also be a quiet zone available for anyone who needs some downtime during the event.

The Big Sleep Out is not a simulation of rough sleeping. Instead, by spending one night exposed to the elements before stepping into the next day, we hope participants will experience a meaningful moment of reflection and gain greater insight into the reality faced by those without a safe place to call home.
