C2S Community Comes Together at Cheltenham Cricket Festival

The C2S community enjoyed a fantastic day of cricket, conversation and connection at the Cheltenham Cricket Festival – the oldest cricket festival in the world.

Our sold-out hospitality event brought members, partners and friends together to enjoy Gloucestershire take on Worcestershire in the historic and picturesque surroundings of Cheltenham College. With lovely weather throughout the day, it was the perfect setting to catch up with familiar faces, make new connections and enjoy some relaxed networking alongside the cricket.

Events like this are always a wonderful reminder of the strength of the C2S community. While our programme includes plenty of opportunities for learning and focused business conversations, it is equally important to create time for people to come together socially, strengthen existing relationships and begin new ones.

The day also gave us an opportunity to support a cause that is very close to our hearts. Team C2S will once again be taking part in Caring for Communities and People’s Big Sleep Out at Cheltenham Racecourse on 1st October, raising vital funds to support people experiencing homelessness and hardship across Gloucestershire.

We were delighted to welcome Daniel Chun from CCP, who shared a few words about the charity’s work and the difference that the funds raised through the Big Sleep Out can make. Guests generously supported the fundraising through our raffle and envelope draw, helping us to make an important contribution ahead of the event.

A huge thank you goes to everyone who donated prizes, including Laithwaites, The Queens Hotel, Cheltenham Festivals, Cheltenham Town Football Club, THornbury GOlf Complax, BPE , We are Marketing and Malmaison Cheltenham, as well as those who contributed prizes during the day. Your generosity helped to make the fundraising such a success.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who joined us. It was a genuinely lovely day filled with great company, plenty of conversation and a real sense of community.

We are already looking forward to returning to the festival and doing it all again next year!
