We are absolutely delighted to share the final results from this year’s Poppy Appeal, and what an incredible achievement it is! ❤️

Thanks to the commitment, and enthusiasm of all of the volunteers with a huge thank you to those that supported the Waitrose Cheltenham stand—and those who worked across the town—we have reached a record-breaking total for 2025!

👉 Cheltenham’s total has now reached an amazing £126,200, with a few tins still trickling in!  Beating last year’s record year!
👉 Waitrose alone raised £25,194, an increase of £3,802 from last year—that’s an extraordinary 18% uplift!  And last year was a record! 😊

This includes:
💳 £16,501 raised through card donations
💷 £8,693 raised in cash, counted and banked thanks to your efforts.

Across the wider area:
🏬 Six supermarkets totalled £70,472 – up 15% year on year
🛍️ Regent Arcade raised £19,811 – up 10%
🏫 Schools, offices, shops, pubs, churches and others raised £27,619
🏇 The racecourse, wreath sales and other activities raised £7,864

Together, this represents a remarkable achievement and a significant increase on previous years. The consistent rise in both digital and cash donations really shows how strongly the public responds to the appeal.

C2S Volunteers contribution—over 200 hours of volunteering at Waitrose alone—really made a difference. Every conversation, every smile, every shared story and every poppy pinned helped raise this astonishing total.

Also, seeing so many families, young people and long-standing supporters come together truly embodied the spirit of remembrance.

Thank you everyone for helping us set a new record. We are incredibly proud of what has been achieved.
