Energy Advisory Regeneration Net Zero, ‘EARNZ’ plc (EARN.L), is an energy services group, listed on London’s Alternative Investment Market (‘AIM’) London Stock Exchange, operating at the heart of the UK’s green agenda delivering vital services across residential and commercial properties including heating maintenance, new energy services, and boiler refits.
The Company’s strategy is to buy and build leading businesses with a focus on decarbonisation and net zero, focusing on whole building fabric approach, working with public and private sectors utilising government incentives such as ECO4. To date, EARNZ has acquired three businesses: Cosgrove & Drew, an award-winning asset and energy support services company, South West Heating Services, a provider of heating and installation maintenance services and AVARA, who assess the energy performance, condition, and occupancy of buildings to identify areas for improvement.

The management team, led by Chairman Bob Holt, has extensive capabilities in the sector and has experience in a multitude of successful leadership roles across the UK’s energy and support services industries. As Chairman, Holt took Mears to the ‘City’ and led its floatation on the AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange, creating Mears Group Plc.
At the time, the Mears team consisted of 83 employees with a turnover of £12 million. Bob was instrumental in growing Mears to revenues approaching £1 billion, a market capitalisation of £450 million and a workforce of 15,000. From 2016 to 2021 Bob was Chairman of Sureserve Group, who provide energy services into the local authorities market.
During Bob’s tenure as chairman, he successfully turned the business around and by the time he left in 2021 the share price had increased 125%. Sureserve was taken private in 2023.
