Dave will reflect on what it’s taken to lead and shape a growing business — from sharpening its focus and strengthening its value to customers, to building the right foundations for sustainable growth.
What Dave’s Journey Has Involved
Over the last three years, Dave has focused on several key areas to strengthen Square One Network’s growth:
- Clarifying the Pain Statement: Understanding and articulating the real problems Square One helps its clients solve.
- Refining the Value Proposition: Ensuring the company’s message clearly reflects the value it delivers.
- Defining the Ideal Customer: Getting specific about who benefits most from their services.
- Testing Assumptions: Engaging with real customers to validate and refine ideas.
- Developing a Go-to-Market Plan: Creating a focused, actionable strategy aligned with the company’s goals.
Through the Founder Mentoring Program with Vencha, and with the guidance of mentors Paul Watson and Richard Blundell, Dave has worked to bring greater clarity and structure to Square One’s direction. This session will explore the practical steps he’s taken to refine how the business communicates, sells, and delivers for its customers and what that’s meant for him personally as a leader. We are delighted that Richard Blundell from Vencha will be joining the session. Richard is best-selling author of The Go-To-Market Handbook for B2B SaaS Leaders and The Big Book of BrainDumps, Richard will share insights from his mentoring experience and offer practical takeaways for business leaders/owners and directors aiming to grow with focus and confidence.
