Summary:
GL3 3ES This is an exciting role that will include engaging with customers and clients to provide prescription counter services, advice, housekeeping duties such as stock rotation and stock replenishment, helping to deliver a variety of public health services whilst gaining a pharmacy qualification.
Annual wage – £13,312 a year
Training course – Pharmacy services assistant (level 2)
Hours – Mon- Fr 9-6
Exact shifts – TBC.

Work:
As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work:
Pharmacy Assistant Apprenticeship – Gloucester
– Gain experience in retail
– Learn about over-the-counter medicines
– Assist in dispensing prescription medicines
– Order pharmaceutical stock
– Advise customers on over-the-counter medication
– Assist with minor ailments
£6.40ph

An apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other training organisation. At least 20% of your working hours will be spent training or studying.

Desirable qualifications:
GCSE or equivalent in:
– Maths and English (grade 4)
